This excellent Yema cake will be made up of these (3) three key components:

Sponge Cake - When compared to any other sponge cake recipe, this recipe is less sweet because our yema frosting will provide all of the sweetness we require for this recipe.

Yema Frosting - For a rich, creamy, yet not too sweet yema filling and frosting, we are using the ratio of 12 egg yolks to 1 can of condensed milk to be ideal.

Grated Cheese - The richness of the yema frosting contrasts beautifully with the grated cheese.

Also, because this recipe calls for a lot of eggs, make sure you have good-quality, fresh eggs on hand.
